New guitar & tuning help!!!?

Question

ok i just bought a new guitar and im brnad new to playing. so i was wondering if i have to tune it when it comes in?? orrr is it already tuned. and if so what tuning would it come in? :/

It is possible that it became a little bit untune don't worry just get a tuner (a chormatic tuner would be best there real cheap only 15-30$ bucks) or you could go to www.chordbook.com and use there online guitar tuner

now heres how the guitar is tuned in Standard which is probably what your guitar is tuned in  

start at the thin string and move up

the thin string is E,

then move up to the next string B

Then move up to next string G

next string D

next string A

next string another E

there you go that wasnt so bad now was it ;-)

yeah, tuners are cheap and every newb should have one, one you can plug into so you don't have to tune by ear. the guitar should be close to being in tune, but may be a little off. if the strings are new they will have stretched some since being put on, causing a lower tone.

If you just bought it, it's probably a little out of tune. Try this online Tuner:

I would recommend buying a tuner though, you could probably pick one up for about $20...
