New headunit with stock speakers.?

hey i got a 99 au ford fairmont. I was wondering if i could use a new headunit with the stock speakers without having to buy a amp or new speakers. Can this be done?

Yes it can be done.

I did it on my 94 Camry and the improvement was unbelievable. Go for it!!

But you should seriously think about investing in speakers down the track. I did, and i havnt regretted it. The stock speakers cones literally crumbled in my ahnds when i took them out!
