New iPod Problem. Please Help?!?!?!?

I got my iPod nano(4GB) on Monday. Tonight(Thursday the 14th) It just froze up. It seemed like it wanted to charge so I plug in the synchronizing chord and opened iTunes to also sync some music: this time it crashed my computer. I was able to restart the computer and thus ask this question. For music downloads I use Blubster. I have noticed a few suspicious songs like:

-Never too Late by Three Days Grace around halfway through the song it scratches up and then returns to normal.

-The Pretender by The Foo Fighters plays for about 6 seconds and then skips to Crazy by Gnarls Barkley.

I suspect it could be a virus. My friends also say it could be because of a dell computer. As dell computer on occasions mess up iPods. I also haven't been able to open iTunes since the occurrence.

  1. well if it freezes up just hold down the middle button and menu and itll reset, now itunes can be to much for your computer as in to advanced. so you may have a problem. Now as for the song problems it may be because of the site or place your getting them from, try using something else like limewire and see if you still have the same problem with the songs. Now if you do, try using a friends computer for your ipod and see if it harms their computer.. if not its your computer, if it crashes theres too, then just return the ipod and get a new one and see if it gets better ::), hope this helps you out ?
