Question:

New iPod Touch software?

Ok so I have an iPod Touch and when I plugged it into my computer, iTunes asked me if I wanted to purchase the new software update 2.0 for the iTouch. I clicked "purchase" and a window popped up saying "Updating to iPhone 2.0.1 software will delete all music, videos, and photos on this iPod, including iTunes Store Purchases. To preserve your media, apply this update on the computer where you sync music, videos, and photos. Updating on this computer will only preserve contacts, calenders, text messages, and other settings."

I clicked cancel but it had already downloaded and purchased the software onto my computer but it's not on my iPod yet. I want the software on my iPod, but I don't understand the warning it gave me because I DID download it to the computer I do all my synching on...

did anyone else have this problem? If you did, how did you fix it?? Thanks!

  1. iTunes always gives that warning before any major update. If you plug in your ipod touch and click on update again it should install the update you paid for.
