New instrument 16 years old?

Question

I'm 16 going into 11th grade. I'm looking to play something unique, something cool. The usual's are guitar, drums and piano. Not looking for a band instrument though. ps. Im a quick learner

Well if you want something bo one else is playing try an Armonica. Invented by Ben Franklin it was accused of being an insturment of the devil.

Sax isnt a minstream insturment, really. Ian Anderson (Jethro Tull) has made millions on a flute.

Cello is cool. Huge too. You can hide a toaster oven in it so it serves double duty

Seriously you should go to the music shops and try everything. You need something unique but at the same time you need something you will love

the flute is really awesome, i used to play. its hard at first but if you practice for about a week it'll come easily

You said unique, try the Steel Drums. If you get good you'll be busy playing every weekend, making lots of money!

well its not totally unique but bass guitar is more unusual then the drums and is so cool

sax and trumpet are both in  regular bands OR school bands. I play the organ but that's not "cool" or the cello
