I understand it is 'yahoo groups', but new invitees complain they need a yahoo e-mail account to obtain access to the group webpage. In the past you could have any account to get access to our site to view the calendar or download files posted by the moderators. Has anyone discovered to 'toggle' of the yahoo sign in? Unfortunately 60% of my members use their work e-mail address.

  1. In order to access the group site's features, they must register with Yahoo.  When they register, a Yahoo Email account is included in the process.  The Yahoo email address in their Yahoo account is their primary one.  They can add  their Yahoo account an alternate email address such as their work email addy and select it to be used for group messages.

  2. invitee's are given a link to go to, they are offered to get a yahoo ID, but below that is the option not to, and also describes they'll have to access to web features. it has been this way for some time.
