New job as a cashier?

hi, i just got a job as a cashier at a local food market. i start tomorrow morning. does anyone have any tips for my first day?

be extra kind to your emlpoyer and custumors! That will help you out a bunch. also speak to your employer with respect.

its going to suck... but you can probably get away with taking all the free food you want

Smile, act friendly, and always count the change as you hand it to the customer. Also say a prayer before you start your day

Show up early. Be energetic. Pay attention so they don't have to keep repeating things. Know that it generally takes two weeks in order to be comfortable in a new job. Good Luck and Congrats!!!

Just do the best that ya can... if someone gives ya a mean stare just politly say it's my first day! :)
