  1. Just give them time to get used to each other. It can take a while, so just be patient. If you are worried they might hurt each other, try to keep an eye on them and if it gets bad, keep them apart. It's good that you got the dogs first. An adult cat will never accept a dog, and quite often not other cats either.

If you think it's weird that your toy poodle is afraid of a kitten, my Doberman is terrified of them! (and rabbits... and mice... and anything smaller than him. He enjoys chasing cows though...)

  2. this happens with a lot of animals.  they are not accustomed to her.  they will have to get to smell each other and get used to each other.  it took two of my cats 2 months to get a long, and 2 of them dont get along at all.  and the dog doesnt care for one of them, and the feeling is mutual so they avoid each other.  he was scared of his favorite when they were first introducted, he would bark at him and run, but the cat would chase him around because he wanted to play.

just make sure you are around and let them be natural.

  3. The poodle has to get used to the kitten. have them spend alot of time together. that is wat happend with my new kitten and my 4 yr old cat. the cat is afraid of my kitten. its kinda funny. just get them together alot. for more help email me. Pinksky080@yahoo.com

  4. your poodle is jealous.  make sure you give your animals equal attention so one doesn't feel abandoned.  the poodle will get used to the kitten soon but in the mean time keep an eye on them just to make sure their getting along ok.
