its the 2nd day at my house and he seems sweet but when i go to pet it sometimes i bites me and sometimes and jumps and attacks me. Other than that it seems sweet and really curious. I googled a couple of stuff and it said to give a high pitched yelp but every time i do that it hisses at me a lot.

Also its 3 months old..is it too late to fix him, or does he have a problem or its just because its everything new to him?

  1. I agree with the person above me.

Also, if it's not hissing or looking threatened in any way when it jumps on you, it MIGHT be playing. Cats are evil. Muhahaha. Just kidding

  2. He's still nervous.  It's still a new place, and you may startle him sometimes because he's not quite used to you yet.  Continue to be gentle and kind and he will recognize you as a caretaker (and eventually, his servant :) ) instead of a threat.

  3. My (grown up) cat sometimes bites me when I stroke her.  She is just trying to tell me "NO!".  As he is a very young cat, I suspect that the jumping and attacking is his way of playing and learning to hunt. As you have only had him a couple of days he will not be used to his surroundings yet and needs a good few weeks to settle in.  He will be quite skittish for a few months to come as he is still a baby.  Check with your vets about neutering.  He will advise you what is the best age.

Yes he probably will bite your friends, but that is no reason to give him away.  Give the poor little thing a chance and I bet in a few months he will turn into a great pet.
