New laptop making sqeaking noise?

i bought a toshiba laptop from john lewis last week, its a toshiba and its now makes a sqeaking noise near the mouse pad even if i touch it,.

will john lewis change it for another one or shall i just get my money back as i dont want a new squeaking laptop.

Could be a sqeaky fan perhaps. There's no odd function Toshibas have for some sort of audible feedback when you're using the mouse is there? Anyway, if you're not happy with your purchase take it back - John Lewis have an excellent reputation for customer service.

Are you sure there isn't a mouse hidden in the CD drive? Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
