Whats up everyone?
I'm getting my first mac of my own Thursday. I bought a macbook pro. 15.4" screen, 2.5ghz core2duo, 4gb ram, 512mb video card, etc... oh oh and not to mention the free 8gb iPod touch.
Anyways, I've been a windows power user for over 6 years now, i'm about 22 years old. I'm curious as to what I'll need and or want to have on my mac that's cool and/or handy.
I've already got all my software(adobe cs3, 3dsmax, cinema 4d, WoW, plus a bunch of other miscellaneous c**p on my usb drive ready) But all of my software is for windows. So I also have my vista install cd ready to install on there too.
I'm just curious what all would a tech savvy person like me would want to know or have right off the bat for a mac.
Also, I haven't downloaded any software for the mac or even done any research on that side of the pirating world yet. What's the low-down on that? I'd like to nab CS3 plus most of my 3dmodeling software for the mac platform too.
