New phone at verizon?

i would like to get a new cell phone. Right now i have a motorola raizer.

i would like to get a touch screen phone or a slide phone... is there any phone that you think that will be good?.. if i really get a new phone will verizon charge me more money? my contract is not up tell dec.2009. will they make me to sind a new one? if i pay full price for the phone?

first off..razors suck. i had two and they both broke. now, i have a venus and its an alright phone. ive played with the LG dare and thats an amazing phone <3 YES verizon will charge for the phone, if i were you id probably just get a cheap phone until dec 09 then you can upgrade. i know the venus, dare, and voyager are all expensive. if you buy a new phone, you wont have to sign a new contract as far as i know, but you will be paying full retail price on it. [as i did with my venus] hope this helped :)
