New phone?!?!?

I am currently with orange and looking to change my phone i am going to carphone warehouse to see if they can help me, do you know weather phone companys have to conduct credit checks for you to get a new phone?

not sure about dat actually but if ur looking to buy a cool new phone i suggest Nokia 3110

If you're signing up to a new pay monthly contract with a new company, then yes, it's usual for the company to conduct a credit check.
