New photos in yahoo group are not shown as new?

When a new photo is added to my yahoo group it does not always appear in the "New Photos" section. This behaviour started recently. Any idea why this happens? Because it is pretty annoying for members.

The Yahoo groups blog states that Yahoo knows about this. Did not say when it would be fixed.
