  1. Go easy for the first 500 miles and remember to vary your speeds without going over 55 Mph.

  2. start it and warm it up until the radiators feel nice and warm, then let it cool down.  check cylinder and head bolts.  warm it up again, ride it easy for about 20 minutes, being careful not to lug the engine.   progressively start riding it harder for another 20 minutes and it should be ready to be flogged

its not completely necessary to break it in so slowly, but it gives added insurance that it won't blow first run out.  if you used a wiseco or other brand forged piston (as opposed to the stock cast piston) make sure to warm the bike up slowly because the forged piston is less dense and will expand faster than the cylinder walls if you rip on it while the motor is cold

  3. Can be a long time, you can draw on the knowledge of the movie, The address is: http://www.avbomb.com will teach you some knowledge of the Orient

  4. treat it like a new motor and break it in properly.

  5. don't worry about it, just ride it.
