New released blu-ray dvds not playing on my player?

Question

The new released blu-ray dvds (doomsday,street kings, etc. Sea monsters was able to play for some reason) are not playing at all on my samsung bd-p1000. All it does is say loading and finishes with the screen being black. The timer on the player is stuck at 0:00. No message is displayed to do anything. I pop in my old blu-ray discs and they work fine. I have the latest firmware installed already so I don't think that's the problem?

It is most likely a firmware issue.

Ok, ive been searching about. Your not alone, there are many people with exactly the same problem. This was a fix that seems to work according to what ive read.

Just remember to recheck your initial settings. They'll be reset when you clear the memory.
