Rafer Alston is actually a really good PG he really picked up his level of play when Yao went down. He was a big reason the Rockets had a 22 game win streak. He was also shooting the ball well. Here's a possible depth chart:

PG: Rafer Alston/ Steve Francis

(coming off injury might compete for the starting job but depends on health and if Alston has a bad start) But I disagree I think Francis can be a good backup PG in the league.

SG: Tracy McGrady/ Brent Barry/ Maybe Luther Head

(T Mac should get 30 minutes per game. He has a good backup shooting guard in offseason acquisition Brent Barry (who had a injury struck season last year. And Luther Head should play SG and PG.)

SF: Ron Artest / Shane Battier Wow talk about the best Small Forward tandem defensively and now you have a legit player who can provide scoring at the small forward position. When will players get a rest when you have to defensive stoppers at a position notable for defense (i.e. Prince, Bowen, Pierce, etc.)

PF: Luis Scola/ Carl Landry: Hopefully Landry will get resigned rather than leave for Europe which is rumored. But Scola is a glue guy power forward willing to rebound and defend and all other non preferable skills. Also Chuck Hayes

C: Yao Ming / Dikembe Mutumbo (maybe) and other power forwards. This is a very deep front court at the power forward and center positions.

Steve Francis is most likely done in the NBA, I don't know why the Rockets got him back.

The Lineup is likely gonna look something like;

Sixth Man: Shane Battier

*I read an article saying that the Rockets are probably gonna play Battier 30-35 min. a game, meaning that they're gonna have him and Artest paired up on the same court. I think its the best defensive duo the league has seen in a long time.
