New samsung lcd auto motion 120hz problem?

when i put it on high fast motion scenes become skippy. i just got the tv so it may have been the move (american gangster from hd movies on demand) but i saw it on another program earlier...... isnt it supposed to fix this problem? is it my tv? what should i do? answer asap!!!!

  1. Both Sony & Samsung recommend that their 120 Hz features be turned off or run on Low (Samsung) or Standard (Sony) settings when watching movies. The problem with these technologies is that they are performing an incredible number of calculations and they are being asked to do this at double the normal refresh rate (of 60 Hz). When these processors become overwhelmed, they produce artifacts. This is NOT unique to Samsung as the Sony MotionFlow TVs are just as susceptible. So much for the expensive technology to overcome a LCD technology fault. Its issues like these that make me believe LCD technologies are only second rate!
