New school Again?!?!

My mom is making me start at a new school, again! She said it's because the people at my old school are "mean" but i didn't think so she's switching my to privet school. Any suggestions for surviving? It would help so much :) thanks!

I don't think she should just make a decision without asking your opinions. Do you want to move schools? Are you unhappy where you are? Here are good and bad points that you might want to consider:

PROS:

If the people really are mean then it's probably a good thing that you're moving.

The people at your new school could be much nicer and you'll have some really good friends.

If it's a private school, the standards (hopefully) will be a bit higher. You could get more help academically and they'll probably have better facilities and a nicer environment to learn in.

You might like your new school more than your last one.

If you have friends at your current school, you can still keep in contact with them and stuff.

CONS:

Moving schools can be stressful and it can disrupt the routine you already have at school

You'll be going somewhere unfamiliar and will have to get used to new things and different rules.

You will have to make new friends.

Just because it's a private school, that doesn't mean the people will be nicer.

Moving a lot can interrupt your education.

Overall, you should be able to express your opinion on whether you move schools or not. Some schools have 'taster days' where you can spend a day at them to see whether you like it. Maybe you could go for a day first? If you are definitely going, be friendly to everyone in your new class, be yourself and everything! Try hard (or look as if you're trying hard) so that your teachers like you.

Ask your mother to clearly state her reasons for you leaving your present school and why she thinks that the new school is better./

In any case do the best that you can in whatever school you are in./
