New school...and i dont know anyone there!!!!! help plz!

so this friday im goin to this "girls night out" thing at my new high school..im goin to be a sophomore..anyways everyone is going bowling and i dont know anyone from this school..im really scared that i will be by myself since i dont know anybody and i am pretty shy too so help what do i do!!!

Fall back on what you're best at...being the social butterfly. A little confident smile and a "hi" go a long way! I'll bet before the evening is over, you'll be gabbing with a couple of new friends. Girls are so good at that.

I have some empathy for you since im in the same boat. I just moved and am going into my sophomore year at a new school. Just stay calm and remember you are whoever you want to be! A new school means a new chance to recreate yourself. Just go with the flow and talk with everyone. Get to know everybody and let them know you.

Find one person that you think has similar tastes and interests and try to introduce yourself, become friends, and get to know.

From there network out. Get introduced to their friends, etc....

If you're having trouble finding a person with similar tastes and interests find a club or organization that caters to your interest.

Since it's this Friday you don't have a lot of advance prep so just do the best you can. Maybe you should take it slow, since you're so shy, and just try to keep things low key to begin with and just 'target' one or two people to start a conversation with. Don't go into this with big expectations.

Good luck, relax, and just have fun...that's what this outing looks like it's suppose to be.

me and my friend went to the mall the other day and dressed in bright colors

i wore a bright green tubetop with denim shorts and bright green stockings from target underneath the shorts.

i put on some green mascara, green contacts, and green eyeshadow!

my friend wore pink everything instead of green, except no mascara or contacts

AND WE STILL MADE FRIENDS!! hahahaha we were really obnoxious though
