New set of irons??????

i"m looking into getting a new set of irons for my birthday. I am a 14 handicap golfer at the age of 13. I need a set of clubs that will give me that extra distance but also can be forgiving if needed. Are callaways my best choice???

Dude steve I was reading your answers and saw you answer a couple fish questions. HAHAHAHHA dude the one with the cloudy water and doing a 50% change was because you should never change above 30% unless its in serious conditions. i like the feel of Ping irons personally. tho i am biased because i play Ping eye2's

Several magazines have club ratings.  Based on your handicap, look for game improvement irons.  You may not be done growing, so you may want to look for used clubs.  You may also want to go to a store or range or pro where you can swing some and see what works for you.  

Callaway has some models that are good.  Also PIng, Mizuno, Taylormade, etc.

callaways are a good product,, but before i bought i went and hit alot of irons, and what felt best to me where the mizuno, MX23. althought they dont make them anymore. you can get the MX25's . they are the new version. they are hot lofted. adn you will definetly get the extra distance you are looking for..

I love Callaway, I got a new set of the Fusion irons a couple years ago and could not be happier. I went down to their Carlsbad, CA facility and was fitted. The experience was awesome. I also got the the FT-3 Driver and fairway woods. The transition improved my game by 6-10 strokes, I play to a 6.2 handicap.

No.  You have other options.  TaylorMade r7, Nike Sumo, Mizuno MX-25 or MX950, or Titleist 775cb
