New sorround system

Question

i just now purchased a new Magnovox sorround system. I have an older model RCA 27 in TV that does not have out put jacks, just input.
I cant remember how it did this the last time and I need help with it.
I do believe that I had the cable going to the VCR, this VCR has out put and in jacks. all I want is to have my TV play through the sorround system
If there is a way, and I know there is I just dont remember how I did it
will you help me find it?
