a guy working at best buy told me there was a new ps3 coming out this fall that was 80gb,$399, and had backwards compatability. will it really have BC? can i pre-order it? please give me a good answer and maybe even a good website. thanks!

  1. New core configuration this fall with 80GB hard drive. Same as the current 40GB SKU with twice the hard drive. This will also include a DualShock 3 controller. So it wont have any backwards compatibility.. The guy @ bestbuy is wrong..Goodluck..hope i helped..


  2. No, it won&#039;t have PS2 back compatibility. It&#039;s the same as the 40GB model you can buy now, only with an 80GB hard drive.

    Any future versions of the PS3 will only have PS1 back compatibility, NOT PS2.

    If you want a PS3 that can play PS2 games, buy it now while you can.

  5. yes there is a new ps3 its a 40GB ps3 upgraded with 80GB hardware and does not have BC sadly and its this september, you probably could pre order it, and sorry i don&#039;t have a website

  6. it is basically a 40gb with 40gbs extra storage for free. No Backwards compatibility whatsoever.
