I just got call of duty 4 3 days ago and I have come to a conclusion that I suck online. I get more deaths than kills. Most of my deaths come from sneak attacks from behind. I use the ak 47 and need 1 more kill to get the red dot. I just have some few concerns.

were you guys like this in the beginning or am I just a slow learner?

what are some handy tips during online gameplay?

btw, i haven't even finished single player cuz I was too excited to play multiplayer, does that have anything to do with my crapiness

thanks for the input. =]

  1. i dont car what ur question is i hate call of duty

  2. just keep practicing buddy, i used to suck, i still suck, but i have fun so thats all that really matters.

  3. Um, first off have u finished the campaign? finish it to get use to call of duty tactics and control. Then try some multiplayer maps with a variety of classes, trying out which class suits you additionally trying out which weapons suit you. When playing use cover, look around and think where can they hit you and are you well protected. Practice practice and practice, I use to be bad too. But after some practicing, I got better and better. Remember after a certain rank you can mod your weapons and change your weapons and perks to suit your playing style.

  4. First you have to find out what kind of person you are in the game. Sniper, shotgun, Semi auto etc. once thats clear, know your maps, learn good hiding places, hot spots etc. learn how to use your knife in close combat. And finally, always watch your back.

  5. I was horrible also starting out playing cod. I used to play halo, so I was used to first person shooters, but all i can say is practice makes perfect. Know the map well and eventually will get your kill/death ratio back to positive.

  6. Probably the single biggest tip I could give is use cover. Don't go running through the middle of the level. stay along the edges if you can and pick people off.

  7. I was terrible starting out. Play a bit of story mode on Veteran. It's really hard, but it gets you used to the difficulty of Online play.

I originally used the M16. The AK has quite a lot of recoil and a too small of a clip. Try playing around with the perks and stuff, eventually you'll find something that it perfect.

    Good luck mate!
