New to Ebay and SO confused...?

So I always look at Ebay and think that things are really well priced but I never actually buy anything because I don't totally understand it so I'm making an attempt to figure it out! My #1 question is: when I'm looking for clothing, I always find these lots of like 3 shirts. It says the price is $0.98 and the location is China. Is that the price for one shirt or all three in the lot? It doesn't specify. Also, is the price so cheap because the shipping will be really expensive? Any help would be great! Thanks!
