Is this bow worth the money or would it be worth spending a little more money on one?

  1. the PSE Stinger is the same price, with what I think are some better quality add-ons. I'd go for that, personally. Reviews of the Stinger are everywhere. Gr8 bow.

  2. I would say that Bow looks like a good package deal if you have access to a local bass pro store then i would go there and shoot a few different bows and then choose the one you like best

  3. IMO: Mathew's

Tuning is more important than brand.

Stay away from whisker bisket, get a drop away rest.

    Carbon arrows are a must

light = speed = flat shooting = farther on one sight pin = less critical of yardage estimate = meat in the freezer

  4. I wouldnt buy a bow from a clothing and boot manufacturer.

$400 is about the minimum you're gonna see for a decent bow.   Look at Hoyt, Martin, PSE, Bear, Parker, and Reflex instead.

  5. It would be best to go to a pro shop. This way you will get a bow that fits you. Draw weight, draw length and peepsight placement are a few of the important items. Also you have to be careful with internet purchases cause the manufacturers will not honor the warranty if purchased this way.

    Good Luck!

  6. Looks good to me... the only think i would do i s spend a extra 50 and get a whisker biskit for your arrow rest because the palstic ones you get on your bow will mess up your arrow's wings.

  7. If I were you I would go to a store like Bass Pro shops and shoot a bunch of bows. They let you shoot them in an area near the back of the store. You have to go with something that you like and feel comfortable with, personally I suggest a Parker Package, it comes with sights and rest and everything you need to go shoot that big buck of your dreams, and they shoot real nice. You don'tt need to spend thousands, I think I got mine for $475 completely set up. If that is out of your price range, just go totheh store and shoot some that are in your range. Who knows, you might find one you really like and end up saving up the extra $100 to get it.

    Hope I helped.

  8. You might wanna take a look at livenyx.com. It is a blog on archery and I think there is a store where you can look at its merchandise. Should have what you are looking for at a lower price.
