New to iTouch. Can you Help?

Ok, I got it free with my mac and I have it set up with the WiFi

My question is when I am on the map feature...

I know double tapping it zooms it in, but how does it zoom out again?

There's no + ot - button.

If anyone can help...I'll give you 10 points

put two fingers on the screen and pull them away from each other.  you can also zoom in by moving the two fingers closer to each other.
