New to landscaping how do I try it out?

Question

I want to start a landscaping business but first must make sure I'm ready for it. I need to see if I can trim/edge and mow lawns (I know I can do all other aspects). I need to see if I like it or that its not too hard for me. I don't want to get customers and not be able to handle it. I CANT LEGALLY WORK, so I want to know how I can try it out.

Why don't you volunteer? Call a local senior citizen organization or church & see if they have people in need.  You can 'practice' on their properties.  Possibly, you can barter your services for those in return.
