New to modeling, need help...?

An agency wanted to sign me. They originally wanted me to pay for the portfolio but i told them i couldn't, so the agency said that they would. But the only thing they want me to pay for in the head shots then everything else is covered. Does this seem legit? only answer if you know about agency's or have modeled

No, not at all! What's the point of only head shots?

If they want you to pay for it first, they are not good. Find another agency who wont make you pay in the beginning

I would first research the company.  try to find others that have used them and ask them questions.  

I don't know if you remember a movie that came out a few year ago that was about this?   The man had all the legal docs and everything stating that he was a legit agency, and it ended up that he was doing p**n on the internet using the girls.   Think about that.  Talk to the current models search other sites, and call an attorney before signing anything.

it's normal to build your own portfolio, if they offered to pay part of it I would take the opportunity.
