ok, so i just started playing yesterday. i bought a white core set "life boost deck" and a white lorwyn "kithkin militia". I really like the life boost deck a lot. i havnt played with the other deck alone though. What I did was take all of the support creatures/defensive enchants/instants out of the "kithkin militia" and put them into my "life boost deck". Im going to try and focus on heals. Today Im getting the new white/green deck that just came out. Im also going to buy 2 seperate cards... i forget what they are called cause i left the paper at my friends... but ones white the other green, and they both provide +life. +2 at the end of my turn, and +1 every time any creatures attack/block.

  1. If your deck is a "life boost" deck, you can try using the new Shadowmoor enchantment (forget what its called) to gain double life each time. Use creatures that have lifelink. And maybe Test of Endurance (win if you have > 50 life) and Soul warden as well.

  2. Life gain is always a pain to play against, so you will need to have some enchantment destruction.  I would suggest wispmare to have the creature, disenchant or oblivion ring as the spells.  You will be trying to counter if someone plays something like enduring torment, which states that players cannot gain life and all sources deal damage as though it had wither.  That's your enemy spell, because no matter how much life you COULD gain, you won't gain a bit if that enchantment hits the field and there is also a creature that states if it does damage to you, you cannot gain life for the rest of the game.  Be wary of it as well.
