  1. When i had mine done i ate mashed potatoes, jelly, ice cream, slush, soup, noodles, yoghurt, rice.

Also you can eat small cereal like rice crispies which you dont have to chew much.

Smoothies and milkshakes are really filling.

  2. jellooooooooooo helps

  3. try drinking a drink with ALOT of ice in it

that should make the swelling go down a bit &make it easier for you to eat

    as for foods, you can try;

    icecream

home-made banana smoothie ( it filled me up when i got mine done ;] )

    rice

    pasta

oatmeal ( wait til it's very cool or the hotness will hurt your swollen tongue )

&basically any foods that are cold and easy to chew / you don't have to chew

good luck with your piercing, don't forget to use mouthwash afterwards !

    xo

  4. jello, puddin, ice cream, peaches in the can, apple sauce, oat meal

  5. Aw, I totally know what you're going through. Been there!

Great foods to eat are FunYuns because they dissolve in your mouth and require almost no chewing (just make sure to rinse a lot after because it can get stuck to your ring),

    Cheese sticks in tiny nibbles,

    Soft Serve/Ice Cream/Jello,

All-Chocolate candy bars that melt in your mouth, or small candies (reese's pieces, m&ms, etc that you chew in small bits).

You want to avoid chewing TOO much because you might chomp on your tongue ring which hurts really bad and can chip a tooth.

I even ordered mozzerella sticks and peeled off the breading to nibble on the cheese.

Good luck & keep up with the salt water so it heals faster! The more you rinse the better!

  6. Ice Cream should do the trick. It will help with the swelling to.

Don't forget to suck on Ice, and gargle with warm salt water (or any anticeptic they may have given you). If it gets infected, which can happen easily on the tongue. It will hurt a great deal more, and you will prob end up having to take it out.

The swelling and pain went away for me in about three days.
