New tongue piercing?

Question

I just recently got my tongue pierced two days ago and its been hurting alot on the right side mostly. i have a plastic ring for my belly button and its a lot more comfortable. im sure it would be better for your tongue too!

If it hurts its probably healing or sore from being pierced and being swollen. It might be more comfortable with a plastic barbell but you really shouldnt change it until its totally healed. It could get infrected or take even longer to heal. Once it is healed change it as much as you want. The pain should go away for the most part in a week or two. If it doesnt go back to your piercer or see a doctor.
