Your product category does not recognize my model and requires a selection so... in order to continue. I had to selct something.

I have a brand new Toshiba P205D-S7436 laptop OS= VISTA, Eithernet or Wireless same problem. Example, I download Bible programs from TTB.org On my old IBM 600e laptop I open several MP3 file downloads in parallel. (same site, it is just that with each new added download you extend the total download time for all the downloads in progress) On this laptop I get one file started and a second one started. The second one may continue to download, may not. The 1st. may or may not continue, if they both continue adding a 3rd will sureky cause the problem. Often what I get is :save as?, X time left, and the graph bar will show the progress as well as the estimated time left and the % progress of the download, I may get 20-50% of the 2nd or first one, then it will stay like that until you get a timeout notice 20 or 30 minutes later. The only way you know the download has stopped is the % and time do not change, graph bar also does not progress, but it indicates downloading is still going on. I figured out something was up when it said 1 minute 15 seconds left until cpompletion, and still said it 10 minutes later. Yes I have tried shutting off the firewall. I had Adaware, Free AV, etc... and removed all of the programs I added after I bought the computer.

Toshiba had me use the Restore Disc, prob. continues even with no other (external) programs other than what comes with the computer.
