New wonders in Latin America.?

Do you agree on the 3 new wonders which are in latin America?

I was thrilled to see Machu Picchu as one of the new wonders. To tell the truth I was quite surprised to see Christ the Redeemer Statue and Chichen Itza, not because I thought they didnt deserve it but because I thought they wouldnt get enough votes. This was a vote casted by the people, not decided by a panel of judges or experts on the subject. I can only say that as south american, I am glad we have our share of wonders over here. This competition is like American Idol, it's the people who decided who was on and who was off, whether we agreed or not! We have to respect the people's choices, there will be some choices which we dont agree and some which we do.
