  1. Avoid Leicester Square, Piccadilly Circus, Oxford Street, Soho etc. with a young child on New Years Eve - it's far too busy and full of drunken teenagers and other revellers. Not very pleasant.

My tip would be find a nice restaurant and stay there, or perhaps see if the London Eye or any of the museums have any events planned. I think the Natural History museum normally has something on.

  2. Yes.  Put him to bed at seven, where a five year old belongs.  Watch d**k Clark via satellite at midnight.  The sacrifices of parenthood are many.

  3. Bring his portable video games and dvd player and everything else because he is going to have the hardest time on the plane ride.

Also get a carryon bag a full it to the top full of snacks like chips candy little cereal boxes etc because they tend to be a little more pickier eaters and it will be different kind of food in Europe

Also comfy shoes because he will be doing alot of walking maybe some extra money to take taxis so it will be easier for him

it is really hard traveling the states with  children so even more harder to travel outside the country with him but get him excited get him his own little camera for kids so that he can take pictures from his perspective and he can remember his memories you guys are going to have a ball though

  4. your child should be in bed on new years eve, not roaming around.  if you have a young child, put off having fun until he's older, or get a babysitter.
