New york DMV fees for a new car?

hi, i just bought a brand new 08 toyota yaris and i am paying cash for it. i have also bought insurance from geico, it's my first car so i dont really know how much the fees and the details i need to pay. on the receipt, there's a $45 dealer's fee, $10 nys insp fee, $12.5 nys tire disposal fee, which i already paid, the dealer told me that since i need a new plate, there will be extra charges on the plate and they did not tell me how much,

my question is, if i want to get this car on the road legally, what else do i need to do/pay after i get my licence plate, and how much will the plate likely to cost?

your gona pay big...NYS sales tax.....plus registration....go to NYSDMV for the hoops  they make you jump through...the dealer should have don'e all of that with the deal..thats what the dealer fee should b for
