New york state regents exam?

ok i have failed 1 regents and that was earth science what happens if i fail anohter will i be held back? i'm in 10th grade

It depends on the school, the school that I go to lets you retake the test in August. But you don't get held back in high school if you have enough credits to be a junior then you became a Junior. You need the regents to get out of high school not the grade.

*You should ask if you can retake the test or they MIGHT put you in that class again.

No, you wont be held back.

Your counselor will just inform you to re-take the regents until you pass them.

You get 3 chances a year,

January,June, & August; those 3 months.
