I have already read the Harry Potter series, the Twilight series, the Gemma Doyle Series, Eragon and Eldest, The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants series. Are there any books that you can suggest to me? Any contributions would be welcomed. Thanks!

  1. The Clique might be a little babyish but I enjoyed. Its about a a clique of 12 year olds. But they are 13 now. Sarah Dessen books are really good. Sarah Dessen is a really good author. Percy and the Olympians are good too. Lois Duncan, Author Ann Rinaldi writes about historical fiction. Thats all I can think of right now.

  2. His Dark Materials Trilogy (the Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife, and The Amber Spyglass)

some of the best books i have ever read. also, if you are looking for a quick read, try the City Of Ember Trilogy. (it is SciFi for those who hate SciFi!)

yet another quickie is Girl With Glasses. it is the autobiography of Marissa Walsh. great book.

  3. Tunnels is a great book.

14-year-old Will Burrows has little in common with his strange, dysfunctional family. In fact, the only bond he shares with his eccentric father is a passion for archaeological excavation. So when his dad mysteriously vanishes, Will is compelled to dig up the truth behind his disappearance. He unearths the unbelievable: a subterranean society that time forgot. "The Colony" has existed unchanged for a century, but it's no benign time capsule of a bygone era. Because the Colony is ruled by a merciless overclass, the Styx. Will must free his father--is he also about to ignite a revolution?

  4. Sarah Dessen books are good.

  7. RAVEN'S GATE by Anthony Horowitz

As punishment for a crime he didn't really commit, Matt was given a choice: go to jail or go live with an old woman named Mrs. Deverill in a remote town called Lesser Malling. He should have chosen jail. A strange and sinister plan is coming together made in Lesser Malling, with Matt at the center of it all. People who try to help him disappear . . . or die. It all ties to an evil place named Raven's Gate - a place whose destiny is horrifyingly intertwined with Matt's own.

  8. Definitely try the Gossip Girl Series. it kicks butt. It's about the scandalous lives of the over privileged. I've read all the books who've mentioned, it's a little different in like tone and context, but they're really good books.

  9. The two George Brennan, Jr. books are wonderfully funny!

    Bats, Brats, and Stats

    Excellence: Sons of Xavier Forever
