  1. i believe its part of oceania

  2. Yes New Zealand is part of Australia continent

  3. Actually being from New Zealand I would like to state that New Zealand cannot technically be defined as being from a continent. Oceania is the collective pacific islands, which although we have highly influential precence we are not part of.

New Zealand was part of Australasia.

  4. Actually, New Zealand is composed by two islands.  And is not in a continent but is near Oceania

  5. Asia-Pacific

  6. New Zealand is not a continent nor does it belong to one , its a island

  7. In geology and biogeography, Australia (also called Australia-New Guinea, Sahul, Meganesia, Greater Australia, or Australinea) is a continent comprising (in order of size) the Australian mainland, New Guinea, Tasmania, and intervening islands, all of which sit on the same continental shelf. These landmasses are separated by seas overlying the continental shelf — the Arafura Sea and Torres Strait between Australia and New Guinea, and Bass Strait between mainland Australia and Tasmania.

New Zealand is not on the same continental shelf and so is not part of the continent of Australia but is part of the submerged continent Zealandia and the wider region known as Oceania or Australasia. .

so here is your answer. I researched this for you on wikipedia. btw i liv in NZ. hope it helps.

  8. New Zealand lies in the south west Pacific Ocean, nearly 2 000 km from Australia, to the east, and 19 017 km, or 11 790 miles from Paris, France.New Zealand is part of the largely submerged continent of Zealandia, which stretches from the north of New Caledonia to the south of New Zealand's sub antartic islands. 93% of Zealandia is underwater. New Zealand is an island nation

  9. NO!  New Zealand is not part of Australia.  Australia is one continent and New Zealand is another, it has a north and a south island but is considered one continent.

  10. No, New Zealand isn't part of Australia.  New Zealand isn't a continent at all.  It's an island country.

Ermm, Australasia/Oceania isn't a continent either.  Continents are large land masses.  Australia is the smallest continent.  New Zealand isn't part of any continent.  New Zealand is considered to be part of the Oceania group but isn't part of any continent anymore than Hawaii is a continent or part of the American continent.

    Other continents are:

    Europe

America (Both North America and South America)

    Asia

    Antartica

    Africa

Its an island country, and doesnt belong to any continent.
