New zealand rugby vs Australian rugby league?

if they played what game would they play leaugeor union , how many players would be allowed on the field for each team and who would watch it,

A few years back a couple of top teams from both the super league and the premier union side played two exhibition matches, which involved a game of union and then a game of league, Not surprisingly both teams won there respective codes. I enjoy both codes and comparing them is like chalk and cheese, although a match up between the allblacks and kangaroos is mouth watering, I wonder if the allblacks would only pick backs and flankers for the league match,no dealt that would be a better match up but i wonder if league had to play union how would they fair in the scrums and line outs???

rugby and league dont hate eachother... i would love to see a hybrid game formed to bring together the two codes. personally i think it would be an extremely tough game. NZ would be much moe physically strong but the leaugies would have the class, ballmanship and steps. I WOULD WATCH IT

I don't mind that question - I have always thought along similar lines.

I think the Aussies would be too strong and fit for the kiwis - League is a much, much more physical game -

Not that rugby union isn't tough, it's just that league doesn't have roly poly fatty forwards like unions three front row fatties.

My answer to this question is Rugby Union is an international sport.

Rugby League is an Aussie sport (its aussies american football)

You cant compare them, i always laugh when the NFL have their world cup its only played in the states how can it be a world cup?

For me personally if its not a world competion its boring, the Euro 2008 awsome, UEFA excellent TRI Nations crazy etc

This is a stupid question.  NZ already have a rugby & league teams as does Australia.

Rugby League and Union hate one another.  So this will probably never happen ....
