  1. not sure yet

  2. i've had contacts for about 2 weeks now lol. at the doctor place i had to come twice cuz i couldn't get them in lol. it took me an hour or two. but it's much easier doing it yourself cuz u have more control over the situation. now it takes like 5 minutes. what i do when i start of course wash ur hands and everything but just gently touch your eye with the contact to get used to the solution. i never get it in the first time. and when ur eye is used to it i usually bend my head down and look up so i have more room then stick it on there. its much easier that way. wow this is too long but hope i helped.

  3. I got contacts about a year and a half ago.

At first, the eye doctor put them in for me, then they taught me how to put them in. It'll take anywhere from a few tries to a few days of practicing to get it perfectly. Remember that everyone learns at different paces. Just think how good it will feel when you finally learn well and live happily with contact lenses.

If you feel like you just can't get it, ask the lady to show you again. Don't feel embarrassed about people looking at you. You shouldn't care what they think. Focus on your goal, and you will be fine.

    Good luck!

  4. Oh I had SUCH a hard time getting them on myself at the optical place, and the person assisting me didn't put them in at all. I got it after several minutes, which probably felt like forever for the assistant.  It takes some getting used to though, just use a mirror. Every time you miss/mess up, add a little more contact solution to keep it moisturized. I've worn them for years now and I still mess up now and then. :P

  5. To be honest, I've been wearing contacts for 35 years now, and I still have to put them in to one side, then sort of push them around to where they should be!

But seriously, you will probably find this much easier as soon as you get home, when you won't have people staring at you and you won't be dealing with someone's bad breath.  Just take it slowly, relax, and it will come.  And it will get easier over the next few weeks.

  6. Be pacient (most likely spelt wrong) with yourself.  It shouldn't take too long.  : P  Good Luck

  7. I dont have contacts but some of my friends do and they say that after a few times you get used to it. I still cant imagine practically sticking your fingre in your eye. I know this doesnt help much , sorry ,thought you might like to know what some people say, well anyways Good Luck :(
