Newborn , how long should she sleep ? ?

my baby eats and sleeps all day, i feed her and she sleeps for four hours and wakes up to drink that sleeps again , is this normal ?

i think so. babies need sleep and food.

it was for my baby.  each child is different, but they say newborns need lots of sleep.  this lasted for atleast a month with my lil girl then she started getting more active.

lol yup....up until about 2 weeks you should notice her getting more and more alert every day

Of course its normal. A newborn thrives when it sleeps, for the first few months that's, all it does. It just needs milk and sleep, did you really not know that? Do you not have any family member or friend who has taught you about babies? Anyway, your baby is doing fine by sleeping and feeding so dont worry!

How old is she? At first it will seem like all they're doing is eating and sleeping. It's normal and she'll be able to stay awake longer periods of time as she gets older.
