  1. My 3 month old snoozes off and on, so he's not awake all day.  I usually sit and play with him, or if I have to get things done I put him on a playmat or in his swing to keep him busy.

  2. If you have some things to do ie ironing, cleaning etc you should be able to get them done unless you need to hold your bubs. Just occasionally look over and make faces etc so they know that you're still with them. Even sit down, have a cuddle and relax - the house doesn't need to be perfect all the time! Enjoy your baby because they aren't small and immobile for long.

  3. When mine is awake, I will talk to her, sing to her, or put her in her bouncy seat.  Oh, and of course feed her and change her.

  4. I would just sit on the floor and play with my son. Invest in a tummy mat that will keep their attention (when they can lift their head of course). Baby swings and bouncers are a great way to keep them entertained and safe. I would not advise you too keep a baby in a play pin for too long. I think with my son he was way more clingy because he could not see me. Just play with them and sing and talk to them and be yourself. When I first had my son I was so self conscience that he was not going to like the way I sang but your baby loves you and will be happy just to be with you. Good luck and just relax.

  5. I use to put my DD in her swing and clean or watch some TV while I held her. Now when my second is born it will be a little different since I will have a 3 year old to chase.
