  1. You can stay there, but look for droppings and remove them if they are out where you can see them.  Then get rid of the mice asap!!!!

  2. well, you should do something about it asap dont wait...its the mouse p**p that can kill, just breathing it can get you deathly sick..be cautious. call someone tomorrow morning, ok? keep your baby away from that but i'm sure yoy know and seem concerned

  3. I would get a cat they don't like to stay around if there are cat(s) plus the cat may catch one too.

  4. I would arrange to stay in a hotel or with a friend or family for a couple nights and call an exterminator, and then have someone watch the baby while I deep clean (and wear a mask - mouse p**p is dangerous!).

  5. maybe it coul be if they bite him or something but try putting alot of traps andall the other stuff they sale to get rid of them always be sure theyre nowhere near your bays reach and dont put him on the floor

  6. I have the same problem we put out the mouse traps every night and he eats all the bait but there is no mouse!! it is driving me insane!! we caught one of them but there is another one that is driving me mad..

Plus i have a toddler and one on the way it is really pissing me off

  7. Depending on where you live, the dangers could be greater than just the poops.  I know that right before I gave birth we had bubonic plague going through our area, and right now we have rabies.  So keeping mice out is a big priority.  The other danger is using poisons and the like that a baby could find and get into (even months later, if you forgot to pick one of them up...)

What worked for us was to set up a tall garbage can next to a shelf.  Then we took a cup and painted peanutbutter on the bottom of the cup and positioned it on the shelf so that when the mouse crawled in to get the peanutbutter the cup would fall into the garbage can.  Then hubby took the mice and released them several miles from our home (at his work... heh.)  It worked easily and cleanly.

But we didn't have an infestation.  If you have an actual infestation then I'd get an exterminator and have the baby somewhere else while it got under control.

I've also heard of people getting a good terrier dog.  That can help.

  8. eek! I found mice dropping in our house when I was pregnant with our first and I know how horribly unsettling that is. The best thing would be to use non-poison traps. They have these box traps that will catch the mice without harming them..I would prefer those because the exterminator I called used glue traps and thank God a mouse was never caught on one because I would have freaked out. Hubby was glad too because he thought I would run the mouse to the vet if I ever did find one in there and he didn't want the bill..lol. If it makes you more comfortable you could stay at a friends, but sometimes those suckers take a while to catch. You may just want to move your baby's crib into your room and keep him close until the mice are gone. Do a thorough cleaning of all cabinets, closets and small spaces to make sure all the droppings are cleaned and this will also help you know where to put the traps. Good Luck!!

  9. You should make the mice go stay with your friends!
