  1. I would go to Sheffield, but really it's your choice.

Depends what you are looking for, if you want good nightlife and friendly people, go to Newcastle, if you want half decent nightlife and a bit of a dull town to live in, choose Sheffield (I'm from there, its better than it used to be but not great), if you want to live in a fresh vibrant city with excellent nightlife, but occasionally get beaten up by the locals, choose Liverpool
