The end of the football season is nearly upon the footballing community, that is for those who follow the English Premier League, as all the sides are set to play their 38th and final matches.

http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Roberto-c31294 Di Matteo has no chance of qualifying for the Champions League through the side’s league position as their 4-1 hammering at the hands of Liverpool in midweek means that it is mathematically impossible for them to finish any higher than their current
position of 6th in the league.
However, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/David-Luiz-c10542,

Steve Kean’s side also have nothing but pride to play for as their fate was sealed in midweek when they lost 1-0 to Wigan Athletic. The result condemned them to Championship football next season and put the under pressure manager under even more pressure.
One should not expect too much from the Blackburn Rovers side who will find it hard to motivate themselves for a match that does not hold any bearing on their season whatsoever. However, it does present a number of players an opportunity to get the attention
of other clubs who might want to sign them when the transfer window reopens.

The Blues have had another season of improvement under their manager and will be looking to end it on a high with a win against Newcastle United.
Newcastle, however, still have a chance of playing in the Champions League next season. Just one point behind Tottenham Hotspur at the moment and only two points behind third placed http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429, a win could potentially take them all the way to third place in
the league.
That depends on a number of other results, such as both Tottenham and Arsenal losing, yet all Newcastle can do is try to win their match and hope for the best.
