Newcastle United looking to offer Shaun Wright-Phillips a chance at redeeming his career
Newcastle United are reported to be looking to bring in Manchester City's out of favour winger, Shaun Wright-Phillips in for the rest of the season, once the transfer window re-opens. Phillips has
managed to emerge as the prime target for the new, Newcastle manager Alan Pardew, who strongly believes that having the pacy English winger in his side, could help his team do even better then they are doing at the moment.
So far Newcastle have had a very good re-start to their life in the Premier League, however, the fact that the team lacks pace on the wings, is no rocket science and they have often been let down
by their crossing and wing play. However Pardew believes that he can change all of that, just by managing to secure the services of Phillips.
Pardew, who has been promised decent cash to spend in the winter transfer window, is planning on not going over board and signing players left and right, but is instead looking to bring some players
on loan. If the manager does happen to secure the services of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Shaun-Wright-Phillips-c33277, then he would be able to introduce the winger to the side almost exactly when Ben Arfa makes his return to the team as well. Arfa, who happens to be the only other natural
winger in the Newcastle side, has been out of action since October, after breaking his leg, but is expected to be back in less then a month.
City will be more than happy to part way's with Phillips, even if it is just for a couple of months, as it would help the player get much more field time, which is something he has longed for at
the Eastlands. Now all Newcaslte need to do is, to play their cards right and hope no one else swoops in to sign the player from under their noses and if they manage to do just that, then they could have a new player amongst their ranks, even if it is just
for the remainder of the season.
