The English Premier League entertainers are willing to up their bid for the Lille right-back whose club is not willing to let him go for a low transfer fee
A little over a week ago, LOSC Lille executive director, Frederic Paquet said that the club will let go of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mathieu-Debuchy-c24682, only if they are able to find a good replacement for the 26-year-old.
“We must find a replacement of the same level for Mathieu to leave. Obviously the more advanced we are, the more complicated it becomes,” said the executive director.
However, despite securing the services of Djibril Sidibe from Troyes a few days back, Les Dogues are still holding on to their star player who has voiced his desire to leave France so many times in recent weeks.
The 26-year-old is attracting a lot of interest from English Premier League side, Newcastle United. The Toon offered Les Dogues 6 million euros for the services of the Frenchman. However, Paquet has deemed the offer insufficient and is asking more for a
player who he feels, command a much better value in the transfer market.
For a long time, the Magpies were unwilling to improve their offer. However, Le 10 Sports claims that the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alan-c4244 Pardew’s side are now willing to show some fluidness in their stance by making an improved offer for the player.
Although financial details are yet to be clarified, it is believed that the Tyneside giants are willing to offer the 2011 French champions, 8 million euros for Debuchy. However, these 8 million euros shall not include any sort of bonuses.
With the new offer imminent, it remains to be seen if it would be sufficient enough. Reports claim that Lille want at least 10 million euros for Debuchy which means that Newcastle United will have a fair amount of bargaining to do with a club that has already
lost one of its brightest stars in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786).
Despite recruiting Sidibe, Rudi Garcia wants to have an experienced right-back in his squad meaning that if Lille come across one, they will certainly have no issues in letting Debuchy make the trip across the Channel.
