Newcastle United have reportedly agreed a fee for Lille’s French right-back http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mathieu-Debuchy-c24682, which is believed to be in the region of £7 million.
Various reports in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/France-c2899 state that Debuchy is set to complete a move to the Sports Direct Arena after Newcastle and Lille agreed to a £7 million transfer fee.
Debuchy has been on Newcastle’s radar for quite some time. The French full-back impressed many with his performances for Lille in the last two seasons.
Following Bacary Sagna’s injury, Debuchy started all of France’s games in last month’s Euro 2012 Championship in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Poland-c2983. The player proved that he is quite capable of rising to the occasion and had a very impressive campaign in the tournament.
