Newcastle to host William Hill Supporting Racing Post TV Stakes and Williamhill.com Stakes on Wednesday
Alongside a number of exciting races, Newcastle is all set to host William Hill Supporting Racing Post TV Stakes (A4) and Williamhill.com Stakes (A2) on Wednesday, February 8, 2012. The two 480 metre long heats will be the last couple of competitions on
the day.
William Hill Supporting Racing Post TV Stakes is scheduled to set off at 13:44 (GMT).
It has a great line-up, consists of Kewell Victory, Droopys Gardenia, Moaning May, Stormy Glen, Ballyhill Rage, and Witton Marina.
As per the betting forecast, Stormy Glen is enjoying the favourite tag with the winning chances of 5/2.
The black b***h has not been winning for last few days, but her fans believe the time has come for a classy performance by Stormy Glen. In her previous outing on February 4, she finished third on the table.
Despite an early pace, J. Wright’s trainee failed to shine, covering the area in 30.98 seconds. However, her connections are definitely expecting an improved show this time around.
Kewell Victory has been trying hard for success over the last few weeks, however, a good result is yet to come. The black and white dog finished second in his last outing.
After sealing a fine victory by the end of last month, Droopys Gardenia lost her momentum in the last heat, as she ended up fourth on the table. However, one can expect her to finish at least among the top 3 in this race.
Moaning May does not have bright chances, but may spring up a surprise. Her previous outing was unimpressive, as she could only grab third slot.
After a recent success, Ballyhill Rage will be confident of making an impact.
She is not enjoying very high odds, but will fear a few at Newcastle.
Considering Witton Marina’s not-so-impressive show in the last race, one cannot predict anything special from the black and white b***h.
Williamhill.com Stakes will be the last contest of the day. The 480 metre long Grade A2 heat is scheduled to commence at 13:58 (GMT).
Like the aforementioned race, this contest also has a fine list of participants. Among the contestants are Skywalker Organa, Hondo Marge, Knutmeg, Graigues Charmer, Ludworth Lott, and Fagans Guest.
According to the predictions so far, Knutmeg is being rated as the most favourite hound, enjoying the odds of 5 to 2.
However, he will have to make a slight change to his strategy in order to appear as the star of the show. His trainer, A. Dawson may send him out with a guideline of running on the inside rail of the race track.
Skywalker Organa has proved her mettle on number of occasions, and will look to spark once again. Expecting something special from Hondo Marge will be a bit too much to ask.
However, Ludworth Lott can achieve a good place on the table, if he delivers his best on the track.
Since these two contests will conclude the party, the audience is expecting a lot of fun. The participants have it all to entertain the spectators and thus, an exciting clash is on the cards.
